Payton went with Aunt Misty, Mark, Hunter and Morgan to kid friendly haunted house. They had bounce houses for the kids, activities to do and little haunted rooms for the kids to walk through. Payton made a halloween scented candle for mommy too. Click on picture to zoom in on the fun.

Field Trip!
Well, Payton has been doing awesome at her new school. She is finally at the point again where she really enjoys her friends. The minute we walk in the door, the kids come over and say, "Payton's here"! Her teachers say she is doing great academically and also say, "everybody loves Payton". Little sweetheart!
Today they are taking a field trip to the Coral Springs Library. Every month they will be going somewhere new. Next month, she actually has 2 field trips; the Performing Arts Theatre, and the Pumpkin Patch.
I start a new job on Monday with Colonial Bank. Very excited! Payton will have long days at school again :(
I am finally uploading a picture of her first day of school. She was a little bit nervous that day, but now look at her: )

Punta Gorda Trip
Here are some pictures from our trip to Punta Gorda. Aunt Faun, Uncle Jack, and Grandmommy live there (Faun & Jack had to leave for a wedding up north this weekend). We went to the Burnt Store Marina, Shoppes, and the Park. I think Payton's favorite was the park. She collected seashells and played by the ocean. She also went to the injured animal park. It was a fun weekend!

Kitty Heaven
Payton really LOVES cats. She loves to dress them up, carry them around, and snuggle with them. We are lucky that our cat Jagger and Aunt Misty's cats, Milo and Shilo, are very patient and gentle kitties. They tolerate Payton and get carried, pulled, held, and even dropped by Payton. Shilo seems to be her favorite for two reasons; (1) He is the smallest in size compare to Milo and Jagger, and (2) he is the only one that doesn't nip at her when he has had enough. It's pretty funny to watch Payton with Shilo. He will try to run and hide under the bed when he sees her coming. Once she sneaks up on him and catches him, she will close the doors to all rooms, just so he can't run and hide from her. Poor little kitty!!!
Payton had a sleepover at Aunt Misty's house and she just loved snuggling with Shilo.
Although, Shilo's favorite thing to do is snuggle, he didn't seem to mind "tolerating" that much.

There is also another place we have yet to explore called 'Wanna Do City'. That will be another day and another post, and maybe we'll need to do one soon, once mommy starts her job!!!!
By the way I have another interview today, so lets hope it goes well and that I soon will have a job and be back to work.
Here is a picture of one of Payton's new friends (Aston), a young girl who is 11-years old and loves kids. I have to admit she really is a natural with kids.

First Day of School!
9/02/2008
Today was Payton's first day of Pre-K! I took her to school and she was a little bit nervous. We played and met some new friends. After about 10 minutes, she gave me the "go ahead" to leave. She had an awesome first day! The teachers said she did really good and they were impressed with how smart and how sweet she is. In this Pre-K class, she takes field trips every month. This month, she goes to the Coral Springs Library. Next month, they go to Performing Arts Center and to the Pumpkin Patch. How fun!

My first Post - "Go Cart"
We were in Wisconsin Dells, and Payton REALLY wanted to go on the go-carts. You are supposed to be 5 years of age, but we convinced them to let Payton (4 yrs old) on one all by herself!
She was so excited and had the biggest smile on her face. After figuring out how to reach and use the pedals, she took off and made her first few laps. As you know that once you have done your laps, the guy will flag everyone back into the strip to park the cars for exiting. Well, Ms. Payton was just having way too much fun! She drove right through the ramp and was left on the track by herself. He directed her to circle back around and she smiled the entire time, as if she was doing a "victory lap".
As she was admiring her own driving and waving to the crowd (not really waving), the other drivers were in line waiting patiently in their cars. Payton decided to park gracefully and slammed into everyone...bump, bump, bump!!!! It was too funny!
This was a big deal for her because she wasn't even suppose to be driving by herself. She did great and she told everyone this story all day long. Look at my little race car driver!!!!
